At Synergen Rx Pharmacy, our staff serves patients across all specialty fields, working extensively with provider offices and hospitals in Georgia as well as other states. We strive to provide efficient and effective care to our patients. As a member of the team, you will be aiding patients with all aspects of their medication therapy; including roles such as refill management, approval process navigation, pickups and deliveries, and insurance verification. This job requires a high degree of critical thinking and attention to detail. You will handle tasks under the supervision of a pharmacist to provide excellent customer service, all while broadening your pharmacy knowledge and growing with our company
Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Transplant manager
- Work under direct supervision, in the performance of pharmacy department duties in accordance with state and federal regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
- Answers telephones and respond to patient questions, medication orders, and requests as necessary.
- Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs
- Coordinate with other departments and teams to schedule pickups, shipments and delivery of medication orders.
- Complete prescription orders accurately and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot various issues within the pharmacy system or client concerns.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory and ordering to fulfill prescription requirements
- Assist with any day-to-day tasks required.
Skills
- Proven experience as pharmacy technician
- Experience with an online prescription system is a plus
- Knowledge of medication and dosage measurement
- Knowledge of pharmacy law and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Reliable with a keen eye for detail
- Successful completion of a pharmacy technician program
- Certified Pharmacy technician is an asset
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
